• John Munro arrives in Rolla and opens the first hardware store with Hillis    Kyle.

1900
• Hillis Kyle purchases John Munro’s portion of the business to become sole   proprietor.

1925
• Rolla Oil Company established by Warren Munro and Albert Munro (John’s    sons).

1949
• Lumber yard added to existing Rolla Oil Company business.

• Known as Albert Munro’s Builder’s Supply.

1951
• William (Bill) Juntunen starts working for Rolla Oil Company.

1964
• Albert Munro passes away.
• William (Bill) Juntunen and John T. Munro become partners in Rolla Oil Company.

1968
• 22,000 sq. ft. building constructed at 103 Main Ave W, Rolla (Now Furniture Connection) to house the lumber yard and hardware business.

1974
• Munro Builders Supply divides into 2 firms:
   -  Munro Builders Supply and Home Center
   -  Munro Contractors

1975
• William (Bill) Juntunen becomes sole proprietor of Rolla Oil Company.

1976
• New Oil and Service Station Built (What is Kooner’s Today).

1988
• Paul Munro becomes General Manager of Munro Contractors.

2011/2012
• Munro Builders Supply ownership transitions from Munro Family to Paul      Munro.

2012
• Hardware Store Revamp
• Improved store layout
• True Value Hardware replaced with ACE Hardware.

2022
• Munro Builder’s Supply moves to Old Shopko Building with lumber       warehouse added to existing building.
